MICHAEL KORYTA

Suspense in Storytelling Workshop

Michael Koryta is the New York Times-bestselling author of 18 novels. His books have been international bestsellers, New York Times notable books, and have won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize among other awards. Two of his novels have been adapted as feature films, and they have been published in more than 25 languages. He previously worked as a private investigator and an investigative reporter, winning numerous awards for his journalism before turning to fiction full-time. He has also written screenplays for 20th Century Fox, Amazon Studios, and New Regency, among others. His experience and love of the craft of both fiction and narrative journalism will inform the narrative suspense workshop. He lives in Bloomington, Indiana, and Camden, Maine, with his wife, Christine, and a motley crew of pets. He also writes under the pseudonym Scott Carson.
